Heirloom Drum Company specializes in quality made one-of-a-kind custom drums. Our drums are stave built from solid wood rather than from ply as most drums. This results in the use of far less glue and vertical grain orientation allowing the true voice of the wood to be clearly heard. The process starts with handpicked solid wood that is carefully milled to the proper thickness and angle. Then it is glued together and turned to a perfect shell.
